Mit Andre May reiste ich vier Monate lang durch Neuseeland, dabei entstand dieses improvisierte Musikvideo.

One night we found ourselves digging our car out of a river with a cutting board. The rental car, our sheltering home, was on its best way to sink with all our footage, its fog lights were already fading slowly underwater. The rubber band we used to mount the camera outside the car to get a camera dolly was still in place. On the passenger’s seat: The camera with the lens that made this bad chrunch-sound when we pulled the focus. That must have been the moment we realized that we almost forgot about reality on our four months long hunt for beautiful pictures.

Traveling New Zealand, Autralia and the Fiji Islands graphic designer and musician Andre May and photographer and cinematographer Jan David Günther collaborated with singer Katja Friedenberg to create an improvised musicvideo for the song GONE by electro-funk trio Laubfrosch from Kassel, Germany.
